Dark Spot Removal
Remove Unwanted Sun Spots & Pigmentation
If you have experienced sun damage and pigmented lesions on any area of your body, we can help. With our FDA approved lasers, followed by regular sunscreen use, you can keep your skin free from those unsightly brown spots.
How it Works
Sun spots, age spots, and “liver” spots are brown spots (hyperpigmentation) that can appear on the sun exposed skin of your face, chest, hands, arms, and legs. These spots can occur at any age and with all individual’s skin types. We safely and effectively remove these spots by selectively targeting the brown pigment with theGentle Lase laser. It delivers light energy pulses that break down the dark pigment in the skin causing it to disperse and eventually clear and even out the skin’s tone.
What to Expect
After the initial treatment, skin spots may appear darker for up to a week. A mild crusting may appear over the treated area. Patients can expect to have anywhere from 1 to 4 treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart depending on the severity of sun damage.
*Avoid sun exposure for 7 days before and after treatment
*No chemical tans can be applied prior to treatments
*Do not take any photosynthesizing medications during treatment
*Patients with active infections cannot be treated
Hear from our clients
“I had a spot removal treatment done with Kristen and I love my results. I had many sun spots due to having a lot of sun exposure. She really educated me on how the treatment would work during my consultation. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. After the procedure she took the time to educate me on Skin Medica products I should be using. I look forward to many more visits at Bella Medical Spa!!”-Katie
